Ok, I feel better now. In all honesty and sincerity, I'm pleased as punch that Ricky has decided to come out and tell us what most of the world has known, or at least suspected, for a long while now. So this isn't really news, but "yay" for him and his kids.
As a tip o' the hat to the ever-sexy Mr. Martin, enjoy a live performance of "Livin La Vida Loca." Damn, I loved this song. Even have to admit that I once danced to it with a client at a dinner/conference thingy. Could've been worse!

but it is rather funny when someone comes out and like, duh, yeah, we didn't know! my same reaction when michael stipe came out. well, ok... thanks for letting us know, we had no clue lol. even my weak ass gaydar picked it up already!
I agree with you RW. I felt the same way with the announcement from Sean Hayes... I suppose it will be news when Anderson Cooper comes out as well even though it is hardly a secret. Jeesh...
As Diane suggests and you've confirmed, BosGuy, on your own blog--yes, it's much easier to breathe by coming out. As each day passes, it less and less of a big deal. When I look back on my own fear of taking that big step, it all seems so silly now.
I am happy for Ricky Martin.
Definitely happy for him, Libhom. I just hope the media doesn't saturate us with more and more coverage--you know, to where he becomes the Patron Saint of Gays, or something like that. After all, we were all doing just fine when he was in the closet, thank you very much.
